One of my favorite accompaniments to our Traditional Easter Ham dinner is my Fruit Conserve. Here is how to make it:

Ingredients:

1 Can Each and drained:

  • (small can) Mandarin Oranges
  • (large) Red Pitted Cherries
  • (Large can) Pears
  • (Large can) Peaches
  • (Large can) Pineapple Chunks

  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Approximately 10 Crumbled Coconut Cookies
  • 1/3 Cup of Sherry

Directions:

Butter a 9 x 13 glass oblong pan. Pour the very well drained fruit into pan, crush cookies on top, dab with butter and spritz a little bit of Sherry on top.  Bake in the oven at 350º for 30-40 minutes.  Serve HOT!

Serves about 10-12 people.

Hope you enjoy.
