Teacher's Time Capsule

When I get a bit of spare time (my husband is chuckling in the background right now *blush*), I like to add ideas that have been sent by people who use the site  (I only include first names.)  I thought this one sounded really fun!

I am a preschool teacher who has been teaching for many years.  I find that while some of the crafts I have been doing for a long time are ok, I like to change and do different things every year.  The children may change, but I don't and I don't like to get bored.  Your have given me a lot of great ideas.  May I give you one? We are making time capsules at the end of the year.  We are decorating baby food jars with tissue paper.  I am putting a picture of the child inside with a note - I want the parents to call me when the child graduates from hight school.  The jar will be sealed and have the name of the school on top, and the date to open it.  It will be fun to see how many grads of the class of 2000 contact me - I hope I'm still around.   Cheers, Phyllis
