Handprint Ghost Craft
This simple handprint ghost craft is a fun and easy Halloween activity for kids. Whether you trace your hand or make a paint print, your spooky little ghost will come to life in no time. It’s a perfect keepsake craft that captures those tiny handprints before they grow!
Materials:
- White paint (or white paper if tracing)
- Black, green, or orange paper (for background)
- Black marker or black paint
Instructions:
- Make the ghost: Either trace your child’s hand on white paper and cut it out, or paint their hand with white paint and press it onto a piece of black, green, or orange paper.
- Let it dry: Allow the paint to dry completely if using the painted version.
- Add a face: Use a black marker or black paint to draw two eyes on your ghost.
- Remember: The fingers should be pointing down so they look like the ghost’s floating body!
Optional Letter Crafts:
BOO: Place a painted ghost handprint as the “O” in BOO. Add a “B” in front and another “O” behind.
GHOST: Use a handprint as the “O” in GHOST. Place the letters “GH” in front and “ST” behind.
HALLOWEEN: Use a handprint as one of the “O” shapes (or as an accent) in HALLOWEEN. For example, place “HALL” in front and “WEEN” behind the ghost.
This makes a cute, interactive way to spell Halloween words while keeping the handprint ghosts front and center.
