Child Care Provider Appreciation Day

Provider appreciation day is celebrated the Friday before Mother's Day 

It's a relatively new holiday... 1996 was the first year it was celebrated.  But it's definitely an appropriate event!  Our children are spending an increasing amount of time with these extended "family members" and they've definitely earned our thanks.

You can peek around in the Printable Thank-You Card Activities.  The cards all say THANKS on the front so you can fill in whatever message you'd like to give your caregiver.

You can also use the writing paper templates and encourage your kids to write a short note to their caregiver.
