This is good scissor skills practice for kindergarten children -- there a lot of cutting to do to make a winter wreath as full as the one Tasha made.  Don't worry about completely filling the wreath.  Encourage the children to cut as many as they prefer.  We want this to be fun, not exhausting!

Don't worry if the shapes aren't cut out perfectly.  They have circles around each piece to make them simpler for younger children to cut out.

Alternatives:  instead of using the template and scissors, you can use a shaped scrapbooking punch to make winter shapes like snowflakes, mittens or snowmen.
