large pair of boys jockey underwear (large enough to fit over pants)
clean plunger or toilet scrub brush
OPTIONAL cape (make your own) |

This is a really simple costume.
Just wear underwear over top of pants and carry around plunger or toilet scrubber as a 'wand'.
To spiff up the costume a bit you can add a matching super hero cape (cape should be about waist length). Use fabric pen or fabric paint to write 'Captain Underpants' OR 'Tra la la' OR a picture of a toilet on the back of the cape. Click here for how to make a simple cape -- for this costume I'd use lightweight cotton to make the cape, but if you're in a cold climate you could substitute polar fleece. |
